At Paws of Fun, our Dog Play School provides structured daycare for small and medium dogs in Camperdown. Each day includes supervised social play, daily walks at no extra cost and personalised care from a team that knows your dog.

We welcome dogs from across Sydney's Inner West. Our experienced team takes the time to understand each dog's personality, confidence and play style, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve.

Pre-requisite

Your dog must know the basics such as 'sit' and recall commands. They must also be up to date on all core vaccinations, as well as a topical or oral flea preventative.

Who can play?

All non-aggressive small and medium dogs that have been spayed or neutered are welcome at Play School. Puppies are welcome once they reach 16 weeks and have had all the required vaccinations.

Walks? Walks!

Dogs who come to Play School enjoy daily walks at no extra cost. While most dog day care centres do not take dogs out for walks, we believe regular walks are an essential and enriching part of every dog’s day.

With a growing number of abandoned dogs in the Australia, we welcome rescues of all shapes and sizes. Once you have adopted them for 30 days and they have been given a thorough health check by your vet, they are more than welcome to join the Paws of Fun family. All adopted pets will receive a 10% lifetime discount on all of our services.

Unfortunately, dogs that have previously harmed or shown threatening behaviour towards another dog or person cannot join Paws of Fun.

What to Expect at Dog Play School?

Every day at Paws of Fun is structured around supervised socialisation, outdoor walks, enrichment, rest and each dog’s individual needs. Our team gets to know every dog’s temperament, confidence and play style so we can manage safe and positive groups throughout the day.

7:00 AM — Arrival and Settling In
Doors open from 7:00 am. Each dog is welcomed individually and given time to settle before joining the group. Our team carefully manages arrivals to keep the environment calm, positive and safe.

How much does dog daycare cost?

A casual Dog Play School visit costs $65. A 5 Day Pass costs $315, which works out to $63 per day. A 10 Day Pass costs $600, which works out to $60 per day.

Are walks included with daycare?

Yes. Dogs attending Play School enjoy up to two local walks as part of their usual weekday routine, at no additional cost.

What size dogs can attend Play School?

Paws of Fun specialises in daycare for small and medium sized dogs. Each new dog is assessed to confirm that group daycare is suitable.

What are your dog daycare opening hours?

Dog Play School operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. Please contact our team about late collection options.

Can my dog be groomed while attending daycare?

Yes. Paws of Fun offers professional dog grooming at the same Camperdown facility, making it easy to combine daycare and grooming.
